Wireless Power System, Possible?
Wires are used to carry electricity and telecommunications signals. In telecommunications, wireless connections are possible such as TV broadcasting, mobile communication, Wi-Fi, AM/FM transmission, infrared, bluetooth, satellites and many more. And who would thought that wireless power transmission is possible. When I was in college, I was thinking of creating a wireless soldering iron – a tool used for applying heat to two contacting metal parts, for our thesis but we did not pursue it because of wireless power transmission impossibilities so we arrived with a Digital Power Consumption Meter device instead.
Today, US researchers have successfully tested an experimental system to deliver power to the devices without the need for wires. Electric tech could make plugs obsolete. …
